an interesting parliamentary report dating from the height of Victorian railway mania, and demonstrating the vast sums of money that were being invested in the hundreds of railway companies for which Railway Bills were brought before the House of Commons in the single year of 1846.
In addition to the details of each subscriber, there is also a key indicating to which railway they were investing in.
