Glasgow, Jackson Wylie & Co., 1926.
ppvii 58 + 15 photographic plates.
very good bright condition hardback in the original cloth-backed boards.
a very scarce little book on the 26 small racing yachts of the class built on the Clyde in the late 1890's and early 1900's.
most of the boats were designed by Arthur Mylne or William Fife, with Linton Hope designing three of them.
an interesting association copy, having belonged to the eminent Scottish yachtsman and 19/24 class owner, John Herbert Thom.
On the last blank leaf, the results of the 1927 and 1928 seasons have been neatly entered by hand, presumably by Thom.
