London, sold by Mr. White and Mr. Robson, 1782.
small folio [33x25]. pp[i] 166 [iv]. frontispiece and fifty plates, all hand coloured, plus uncoloured key plate. later marbled paper boards and cloth spine with remains of paper label. a little foxing or browning, but generally the plates are in clean and fresh condition. old repaired tears across one plate and two text pages.
without the 'Scheme of Colours' plate, but according to an interesting loosely inserted 1918 letter from William Wesley and Sons, this seems to be a rarity in the 1782 edition.
