good clean condition hardback in the original quarter roan leather binding, worn at the hinges, but all sound. the entries in a neat copper-plate hand.

interesting, but unfortunately an incomplete journal as every other page has been removed.

From the limited information that can be gleaned from the journal, the accounts relate to the brig 'Jenny', probably sailing out of Liverpool, on transatlantic trading voyages to America, with the most frequent destination being the port of Savannah in Georgia.
