a scarce locally published little volume of poetry and song descriptive of a late 19th-century yachting cruise.
The schooner yacht 'Ocean Queen' sailed from the Clyde to Guyana and the West Indies, and the author records the voyage and inland explorations in Guyana in the form of a semi-comic epic poem interspersed with songs and music, described on the front cover as "a song, a little fiction, and a fact or two, recorded in a simple rhyming way".
I don't know it comes into the 'fiction' or 'fact' category, but there is an account of the rescue from a raft in mid-Atlantic of the survivors from a foundered sailing ship.
The only UK library holding recorded is in the National Library of Scotland.
