a little marking and browning, but generally in clean condition in the original red cloth boards with gilt lion rampant design to front board. binding a little dull and grubby. glue repair to hinges, rather untidy to the upper hinge.
a scarce, cheaply published history of William Wallace, 'compiled from the highest authorities'. includes a useful 14-page bibliography of works relating to Wallace.
