in the original half morocco binding, badly rubbed, with some soiling to the cloth boards, but with no significant damage. end-papers rather soiled. book-plate and institution stamp to front paste-down. small catalogue number to verso of title-page.

there is a little marginal marking, but the maps are all in good, fresh condition, apart from a long tear to the inner margin of the map of southern Scotland, and a certain degree of mustiness throughout
