an unrecorded volume of naval photographs covering the years 1898 to 1905. the book contains 107 photographs in all, mostly individual ships and boats of the Royal Navy, but also including group photos of naval manoeuvres, etc. and finishing with photographs of ships of the French fleet during their visit to Portsmouth in 1905.

The photographs mostly show ships off Torbay and Portsmouth, with a few at Dartmouth.

I can find no record of the book in any library databases and no identification clue to the photographer. The name Chas. J.Mason is written on the front free end-paper.
