browning to end-papers and a little foxing, but generally in very good condition in the original two-tone blue and white cloth binding, a bit bruised to the corners. inscription to front free end-paper.


a first-hand account of the Battle of the Falklands by the Gunnery Lieutenant on board HMS 'Inflexible'. the author was subsequently killed in the Dardanelles, and this finely produced volume includes a memoir of his life by Harold Hodge.
